Credits & Open-Source

Last updated: 30 June 2026

LiveView stands on the shoulders of open-source. Here we credit the tools and models we did not build, and honour their licenses.

With gratitude. The fast on-device voice, the QR pairing, the native bridge and much of the plumbing come from generous open-source projects. We use them under their licenses and pass those terms along. Full license texts are available in each project's repository, linked below, or on request at hello@thecosmicapp.com.

The voice

OpenRAIL-M use restrictions. The Supertonic voice model is licensed under OpenRAIL-M, a responsible-AI license that permits commercial use but prohibits using the model, among other things, to: break any applicable law; harm, exploit or sexualise minors; generate or spread false information to harm others; defame, disparage or harass; impersonate a person to deceive; discriminate against individuals or groups; provide medical advice or interpret medical results; or make automated decisions that adversely affect a person's legal rights, without human oversight. By using LiveView's voice you agree to these restrictions. The full, binding license text is in the model's LICENSE file.

Thank you
